Life Skills – An Introduction
Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable humans to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life.
One of the objectives of NiMiTHAM initiative is to conduct life skill workshop for youngster which help them cope with hardships of life. This has been the basis of our chat show Kapi Poha Session wherein stories of ordinary people living their life to the fullest are shared on weekly basis.
According to UNICEF, Life Skills are behavior changes or behavior development approach designed to approach balance in 3 areas

· Skills
According to UNESCO, UNICEF and WHO below is the list of ten core life skills
