Choreography in Life

Today’s blog is about one of the performing arts which is dance. I started learning Bharatnatyam from last year after a gap of 25 years and it was not an easy journey for me. During my growing up years I loved dance but due to financial constraints had quit my learning mid-way. Achan always wanted me to pursue this hobby as he thought it would bring back a sense of alignment within me rather than just being caught up in the rat race.

My Second innings with dance has been just beautiful. It is one form of art which has touched me at a very deep level. It has helped me in stirring my hidden emotions & fostering empathy within. Moreover I learnt to celebrate each moment in life and that has led to better mental and emotional engagement with others. In simple words, it took me a step closer to my authentic self.

Ability to manage my emotions and being more self-aware has been my key learning which is again important life skills.

I am grateful to have been associated with this art form which took me to a level to choreograph my life better. I am able to manage my time to follow my creative pursuits along with adding value to my professional career.
