Intrapersonal Skills

Interpersonal skills help in collaborating with others, whereas Intrapersonal skills help in recognising our own strengths and weaknesses. In simple words Interpersonal skills refer to social skills and Intrapersonal skills are self-management skills. Both skills are very important for our personal growth.

The Intrapersonal skills are all about the internal dialogue we have with our self. These dialogues are important for emotional well-being.

Having a good Interpersonal relationship is an important life skill but in order build that focus has to be on developing intrapersonal skills. These are not taught in any class room but are something one needs to develop through self-introspection.

Strategic Thinking, Analytical Thinking, Resourcefulness are examples of Intrapersonal Skill. Having shift from a fixed mindset to growth mindset and helps in developing these skills. Also, Self-Awareness about your values, belief system and how you perceived by others are guiding force of these skills.
