Balancing Act in Life
My father used to follow 3-3-3 rule and I always wondered how he had time to do everything in life. I happen to join back corporate few weeks back and was struggling to put a routine in place as I was involved in lot of things at personal front.
Suddenly I happen to see a post in my study table kept by my father 3-3-3 Rule. I finally got my answers and everything made sense to me. I was happy again as I was able to strike the balance I needed.
The rule is to divide your day into three parts 8 +8+8 = 24hrs where in 8 hrs go for your sleep another 8hrs go for your work and remaining 8 hrs is for the rest of the things you want in life including your me time. Probably somedays your work will take more of your time & in other days it might be your personal commitments which is perfectly ok. This means each day is going to be different depending on the priorities you set in for and the balance you want to strike in your life.
This reminded me of cycling which teaches the importance of balance in life which requires perfect coordination of body and mind.
